Cheltenham Town beat Morecambe

Cheltenham Town beat Morecambe 1-0 in League Two thanks to a goal from Troy Brown.

Cheltenham Town left it late to beat Morecambe 1-0 in League Two this afternoon.

Troy Brown's 79th-minute effort was enough for the visitors as they went 10th in the division.

Matt Richards's 30-yard shot was spilled by Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche early on as the visitors pressed for the opening goal.

Jason Taylor went close for the Robins in the second half but his well-struck effort hit the side-netting.

With both sides looking for the winner, it was Brown who bundled home the ball in after Roche had saved a header from Sido Jombati.
