Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala has expressed his delight at being linked with a summer move to Chelsea.
The Blues are expected to be under the guidance of former boss Jose Mourinho next season, and the 22-year-old is thought to be a target for the Portuguese chief.
However, while he admits that he is flattered to be touted as a target for the Europa League champions, Mangala is adamant that he wants to be playing regular first-team football.
"It's flattering because Chelsea are a great club and Mourinho is a great coach," Mangala told The Sun.
"I intended to stay in Porto but you never know what will happen in football, especially when big clubs are involved.
"At Porto I play every week and I am involved in the title fight and the Champions League. And that is important to me."
Mangala has been capped 23 times by the France Under-21s.
