Jose Mourinho: 'Late transfer deals unlikely'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that the club is unlikely to be involved in any late transfer deals this month.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that the club is unlikely to be involved in any late transfer deals this month.

Mohamed Salah, Nemanja Matic and Bertrand Traore are the three players to have joined the Blues so far during the January window.

Meanwhile, Juan Mata, Kevin de Bruyne and Michael Essien have all left Stamford Bridge on permanent deals.

"Unless an incredibly surprising deal happens with one of our players and because of that we have to react, I don't believe there will be any more [transfers]," BBC Sport quotes Mourinho as saying.

Chelsea continue their Premier League campaign on Wednesday when they entertain London rivals West Ham United.
