Liverpool have reportedly been encouraged to make a fresh approach for Nabil Fekir as Lyon are ready to cash in on the French forward.
Fekir was on the brink of joining the Reds last summer until an issue with his medical dissuaded the Reds from finalising a £53m deal.
The 25-year-old has since been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool's neighbours Everton, and he admitted earlier this week that his future may lie away from the Groupama Stadium.
French newspaper L'Equipe claims that Lyon are now willing to sell Fekir to the highest bidder as he has been reluctant to extend his contract, which expires at the end of next season.
Liverpool remain the favourites to snap up Fekir, who was due to sign a five-year deal worth £130,000 a week at Anfield before his botched medical.
Tanguy Ndombele is also expected to be granted his wish of leaving the Ligue 1 side for a switch to the Premier League.
