Chelsea have allowed Leeds United to sign midfielder Lewis Baker on a season-long loan deal.
Leeds have just appointed former Argentina coach Marcelo Bielsa as their new boss and the Championship club have followed up that arrival with the acquisition of playmaker Baker.
The 23-year-old has been restricted to just one substitute appearance at Stamford Bridge, but has spent five separate loan periods away from the club since progressing from the academy.
Between 2015 and 2017, Baker netted 15 goals from 64 appearances during two seasons for Vitesse in the Eredivisie but during the last campaign, just 12 outings were made for Middlesbrough.
Baker becomes Leeds's first signing of the summer, and the Yorkshire giants are expected to continue to be active in the transfer window with just over a month left until the start of the new Championship campaign.
