Kenedy 'keen to leave Chelsea this summer'

Kenedy wants to leave Chelsea before the European transfer window closes, according to a report.

Brazil attacker Kenedy is reportedly eyeing a move away from Chelsea before the European transfer window closes at the start of September.

The 23-year-old is now back with the Blues after spending the last 18 months on loan with Newcastle United, where he managed three goals in 41 appearances.

Kenedy was heavily involved in the club's preparations for the 2019-20 campaign, yet the attacker has not played a single minute of first-team football in the early stages of the new season.

According to Goal.com, the South American - out of contract at Stamford Bridge next summer - is exploring the possibility of leaving his English club on a permanent deal before September 2.

Christian Pulisic's arrival has pushed Kenedy further down the pecking order at the club, while Callum Hudson-Odoi is also nearing a return to action following an Achilles operation.

Frank Lampard's side will be looking for their first win of the new Premier League season when they travel to Norwich City in Saturday's early start.
