Chelsea have reportedly informed Inter Milan that they want to part ways with Marcos Alonso on a permanent basis.
While the Spaniard is viewed as first choice when Chelsea use wing-backs, the left-sided defender's future is up in the air after an alleged bust-up with manager Frank Lampard.
The incident, which occurred after the game with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns last weekend, has led to Inter taking an interest in any further developments.
However, Goal claims that the Italian giants are unlikely to succeed with a loan approach for the 29-year-old.
Although the Europa League runners-up are willing to include an option to buy for 2021, Chelsea want to cash in on Alonso before Monday's deadline.
The player still has three years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
