Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given is being lined up as replacement for Petr Cech, should the Czech international elect to leave Stamford Bridge, according to reports.
Cech, 32, has been linked with a move away from Chelsea since losing his place in the first team to 22-year-old Thibaut Courtois.
If Cech does move on at the end of the season, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will move for an experienced backup goalkeeper as his replacement, with Given a contender, reports the The Telegraph.
Given, 38, joined Villa in 2011, but currently finds himself behind Brad Guzan in the Villa Park pecking order.
