Chelsea have reportedly identified Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey as a potential signing ahead of next season.
The Blues are currently banned from adding players to their squad for the next two transfer windows, although the West Londoners are currently awaiting the result of an appeal.
Any developments - positive or negative - will significantly alter their plans this summer as the club contemplate introducing a number of academy graduates into the senior setup.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have still put together a shortlist of possible arrivals, which includes Leverkusen star Bailey.
The Premier League side have been long-term admirers of the 21-year-old, who netted five times from 29 outings in the Bundesliga during the most recent campaign.
Leverkusen could allegedly demand in the region of £80m for Bailey.
