Chelsea are poised to make a £48m bid for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling, according to a report.
The 19-year-old is said to be negotiating a new deal with the Anfield side, but it is believed that the two parties are some distance away from agreeing terms.
As a result, the Daily Express claims that Jose Mourinho is looking to launch an ambitious bid for the England man, who is allegedly open to a move away from Merseyside.
Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain are also said to be monitoring the situation.
