Chelsea and Manchester City have reportedly touched base with the representatives of Palmeiras midfielder Patrick de Paula.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with the Brazilian outfit during the 2020 Serie A season, registering three goals and one assist from 27 league appearances.
Man City have previously been linked with a move for De Paula, while Bundesliga powerhouses Borussia Dortmund are thought to be keeping a close eye on his situation.
Now, Sport Witness reports that both Man City and Chelsea have made contact with De Paula's entourage with a view towards a possible summer move.
The midfielder's deal with Palmeiras does not expire until December 2024, though, and the South American giants are thought to have slapped a €25m (£21.5m) price tag on the head of the starlet.
De Paula has already claimed one Copa do Brasil and one Copa Libertadores title with Palmeiras, and he boasts a total of six goals and one assist from 59 appearances for the club.
