Chelsea striker Armando Broja will allegedly soon hold talks with Blues head coach Enzo Maresca over his future.

Chelsea striker Armando Broja will reportedly hold talks with Blues head coach Enzo Maresca over his future, with the Albania international likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Broja, 22, spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, representing Marco Silva's side on eight occasions, but he failed to find the back of the net.

The Albanian is back with Chelsea this summer, and he has a contract with his parent club until June 2028, but the centre-forward is expected to leave the Blues before the end of the transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Broja will hold discussions with new Chelsea manager Maresca in London to determine his future, with two Premier League clubs keeping an eye on the developments.

The report claims that Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are both interested in Broja.

Everton, Wolves 'interested in signing' Broja

The striker was not in the Chelsea squad for Tuesday's clash against Real Madrid, with Masesca saying after the match: "It was just a decision. He was not injured, luckily for him and for us. We will see what happens."

Broja has been with the Blues since 2009, making the breakthrough into the first team in 2020, and he has represented his current side on 38 occasions, scoring three times and registering one assist.

The forward had a successful loan spell at Vitesse in 2020-21, scoring 11 times in all competitions, and he then represented Southampton on loan in 2021-22, scoring nine times.

Broja struggled to make his mark in the first half of the 2023-24 campaign for Chelsea, though, only scoring twice in 19 appearances, before failing to register in eight appearances for Fulham.

Will Chelsea sign a striker this summer?

Chelsea continue to be linked with Napoli's Victor Osimhen, while the club are also said to be advancing on a deal for Atletico Madrid's Samu Omorodion.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a move for Osimhen could go to the final week of the transfer window, and the Nigeria international is not willing to accept a pay cut on his £325,000-a-week wages.

Chelsea will not play either Champions League or Europa League football next term but are still said to be confident of convincing Osimhen to make the move to Stamford Bridge.

The Nigeria international has a £113m release clause in his Napoli contract, but there could be a swap deal on the cards this summer, with Romelu Lukaku potentially moving in the opposite direction.
