Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.

Chelsea begin life without Frank Lampard at the helm on Wednesday evening when they welcome fellow out-of-form side Wolverhampton Wanderers to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Having overseen five defeats from the Blues' last eight top flight outings, club legend Lampard was relieved of his duties on Monday morning as Chelsea lie ninth in the table.

The capital outfit comfortably overcame Luton Town 3-1 in the FA Cup in Lampard's final game in charge, and they are reportedly set to begin a new era under Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked by Paris Saint-Germain last month.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the visit of Wolves.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: January 31 (vs. Burnley)

N'Golo Kante is Chelsea's only injury concern at the moment as he battles his way back from a hamstring problem. The France international missed the win over Luton and is not expected to come back in midweek, with Sunday's visit of Burnley looking more likely for the midfielder.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no players suspended for their first game of the post-Lampard era.
