Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has described Michy Batshuayi as an "extraordinary" player after nabbing the striker on loan from Chelsea.
Batshuayi was the final piece in a triple deal that saw Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave Dortmund for Arsenal and Olivier Giroud move from the Gunners to Chelsea.
The Belgium international failed to truly win over Blues boss Antonio Conte during their 18 months together at Stamford Bridge, starting just three times in the top flight this term, but Zorc believes that his side have pulled off a big deadline-day coup.
"Michy is a young, very interesting striker who boasts a good goalscoring record and has shown his extraordinary quality at Chelsea and Olympique Marseille, in the Belgian league and while playing for the national team," he told the German club's official website.
Batshuayi scored an average of a goal every 88.5 minutes on the pitch for Chelsea in 2017 - the second-best return of any player to score more than 10 times in the Premier League in the last calendar year, behind only Harry Kane.
