Andre Schurrle has admitted that he is desperate to add to his success at the World Cup by helping Chelsea to claim silverware this season.
The German forward was in training for just two weeks before the start of the campaign after being given time off following the victory at this summer's tournament in Brazil, and he is hopeful of playing a key role in Jose Mourinho's side.
"It was from zero to 100, directly into team training and everything. So there's a lot of work for me, but I'm feeling good," Schurrle is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
"I enjoyed the World Cup a lot, so I got out of that with a lot of confidence. I came back to Chelsea, and obviously had a very short break. I was only two and a half weeks at the ocean and could relax.
"But from zero to 100 – I am hungry, I want to achieve something with Chelsea. I want to win titles with Chelsea. So I worked hard these two weeks. I worked a lot – extra for me as well."
Schurrle scored as Chelsea started their Premier League campaign with a 3-1 victory over Burnley on Monday night.
