Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says that he will review an incident that saw Luis Suarez allegedly bite Branislav Ivanovic during Sunday's draw with Chelsea.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has said that he will review an incident that saw Luis Suarez allegedly bite Branislav Ivanovic during Sunday's draw with Chelsea.

Suarez appeared to bite the defender in the second half at Anfield, but was not punished by referee Kevin Friend.

The striker then scored a 96th-minute equaliser to earn the Reds a 2-2 draw in the Premier League.

"I have been made aware of the incident but I cannot say anything until I have reviewed it," Rodgers told BBC Sport. "We will review it after the game.

"There will be something to be said if so, but it is not now."

Suarez previously received a seven-match ban for biting an opponent while playing for Ajax in the Netherlands.
