John Obi Mikel: 'The real Chelsea are back'

John Obi Mikel says that the old Chelsea are back following his side's 3-0 victory over West Ham United last weekend.

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has said that the real Chelsea are back following his side's away performance against West Ham United last weekend.

Jose Mourinho's side ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against the Hammers, thanks to goals from Frank Lampard and Oscar.

"The way we played on Saturday was exactly the way the manager wants us to play," Mikel told the Evening Standard.

"He always wants us to play that way: concentration, press the ball when we don't have it but when we have it, play as well.

"Everyone is happy. That's what we want to keep doing: performing like that. You could say the real Chelsea are back."

Following the victory, Chelsea find themselves in third position in the Premier League table.
