Chelsea interim boss Roberto Di Matteo has admitted that 'he will have to move on' from the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas.
Di Matteo will take charge of team proceedings with the Blues until the end of the season, but he reserved special words of praise for the outgoing Portuguese boss.
"It's been a very difficult 24 hours for a lot of people at the football club. Andre's brought some very good positive ideas to this football club," Di Matteo told Sky Sports News.
"I enjoyed very much working with him and we will remain friends for the rest of our lives but I will have to move on."
Chelsea sit fifth in the Premier League after 27 games.
