Kurt Zouma: 'I'm not thinking about Chelsea future'

Kurt Zouma says that he is not currently giving any thought to his future at Chelsea as he tries to keep loan club Stoke City in the Premier League.

Kurt Zouma has suggested that he remains fully focused on trying to keep Stoke City in the Premier League rather than his future at Chelsea.

The defender has spent the season on loan at the bet365 Stadium, with 30 appearances being made in the top flight, but the French international will soon have to contemplate his next move when returning to the Blues.

However, Zouma has insisted that he is only concentrating on trying to avoid relegation with the Potters, who sit five points adrift of safety in the top-flight standings.

The 23-year-old told the London Evening Standard: "Especially not at the moment. If I know I'm still in the Premier League [with Stoke] then I will see about the future, but not now.

"I'm just focused on my team and try and keep them in the Premier League and win games. That's the most important thing. That's the most that I want. It doesn't matter about the rest at the moment."

Zouma penned a new six-year contract with Chelsea last summer.
