Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga claims that his relationship with Frank Lampard is "very good" amid speculation regarding the Spaniard's future.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has denied reports that he has a poor relationship with manager Frank Lampard.

The 25-year-old was dropped to the bench for Chelsea's most recent fixtures prior to the coronavirus suspension, and the Blues are allegedly searching for replacements for the world's most expensive shot-stopper.

Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer and Ajax's Andre Onana have both been mentioned as potential new faces between the sticks, but Kepa is optimistic about his future at Stamford Bridge under Lampard.

Speaking to Marca, Kepa said: "The relationship with Frank is very good. He has shown me confidence from the first moment.

"He must make decisions, but I feel I have his confidence, both his and that of the whole club. We all like to play in every game."

Kepa has kept six clean sheets from 25 Premier League outings this season.
