Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink: 'Chelsea strikers are under pressure'

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes that Chelsea's strikers are under pressure to prove manager Jose Mourinho wrong.

Former Chelsea forward Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes that strikers Samuel Eto'o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba are under pressure to prove manager Jose Mourinho wrong.

The Portuguese coach is said to have been filmed by French television station Canal+ while having a private conversation in which he dismissed his side's title chances because he has "no strikers".

"As a striker you already have pressure on you," Hasselbaink told talkSPORT. "All of the strikers, Demba Ba, Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o, know people are talking about them already because they are not scoring goals. That is not a secret.

"There is more pressure on them now because they have heard what Mourinho has said. They have a job to do though. They should use it to their benefit."

Chelsea will take on Galatasaray in the first leg of their round-of-16 tie in the Champions League this evening.
