Petr Cech hails Chelsea's first away win in Premier League

Petr Cech is pleased with Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Norwich City away from home in the Premier League.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has urged his teammates to build on their 3-1 away victory over Norwich City on Sunday.

Goals from Oscar, Eden Hazard and Willian saw Jose Mourinho's side pick up maximum points from their Premier League fixture at Carrow Road.

"It's always good to have a positive start and go one better so we hope to get better every game," Cech told Sky Sports News. "Today it was an important win for us especially in the circumstances that we conceded an equaliser quite late in the second half, so we can take another step forward.

"I thought that in the first half today, we controlled the game and we could have scored more goals than only one. Once they got back into the game, it's a Premier League side playing at home; they were full of confidence because it was only 1-0.

"They got the equaliser so it became more difficult for us but the reaction was great. From the moment the equaliser went in, we had to get up and went and scored the two goals."

The win at Norwich was Chelsea's first on the road in the Premier League this season.
