Azpilicueta: 'Chelsea must improve in attack'

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicuets says that the Blues must create more chances in the final third, despite netting eight times in their first three top-flight games.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has said that the Blues must still look to improve in the final third.

Maurizio Sarri replaced Antonio Conte during the summer, and the former Napoli boss has started his reign with three successive victories in the Premier League.

The West Londoners have also netted eight goals, but Azpilicueta has insisted that the team are still capable of performing better in attack.

The Spaniard told the club's official website: "Creating more chances from open play is something we will work on, I'm sure.

"We want to control the game and have the ball, and we want to be dangerous in front of the goal. As a team we know we can improve and we will work on that."

Chelsea are next in action when they host fellow unbeaten side Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
