Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has revealed that Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has told him to "win the Champions League against Chelsea".
The pair spent three years together at Stamford Bridge and met up again following the Spanish champions' semi-final exit at the hands of Robben's Bayern last month.
The Dutchman told The Mirror: "After knocking out Jose's Real Madrid side in the semi-final, he walked through the corridors of the Bernabeu and entered the Bayern Munich dressing room.
"He came to congratulate each player in the Bayern team in turn. He showed he was a great loser. And he showed what a great personality he is. But more than anything else in my mind are his words on the pitch directly after the final whistle went.
"He came up to me and said, 'Now you have beaten us, you must go and win this trophy. Go and win the Champions League against Chelsea'."
Bayern must beat the Blues on May 19 if they are to avoid a trophiless season, after Borussia Dortmund completed the domestic double with a 5-2 win over Jupp Heynckes's side in the German Cup final on Saturday night.
