Frank Lampard admits that the 2008 Champions League final can inspire Chelsea to win in 2012.

Frank Lampard has said that defeat in the 2008 Champions League final can inspire Chelsea to win it all in 2012.

Lampard, who scored against Manchester United in Moscow, claims to have both good and bad memories of the meeting. However, he admits that the final result is what sticks out the most.

"We need to use the disappointment from Moscow to inspire us," he said.

"We've got good and bad memories, but the main one is that we lost the game. It's taken a while for us to get back.

"You saw the celebrations after we beat Barcelona. We're delighted to be here. We want to win the game."

Chelsea beat holders Barcelona 3-2 in the semi-finals to book a spot in Munich.
