James McFadden still keen on Celtic move

James McFadden is still interested in a move to Celtic should there be any interest.

Former Everton forward James McFadden has revealed that he is still interested in a move to Celtic should anything materialise with the Glasgow club.

The Scotland international was released by Everton in May after the expiry of his contract and has been training with Motherwell, but he has said that he still would like to join the club he was linked with last October.

"It is something that would appeal to me but whether it is a possibility, I don't know, you would need to ask somebody at Celtic," McFadden said.

"If anybody comes to speak to me, I will speak to them, I wouldn't rule anything out."

McFadden will play in Stevie Hammell's testimonial match against Everton at Fir Park on Saturday.
