Everton confirm that six players, including James McFadden and Marcus Hahnemann, have left the club today after their contracts expired.

Everton have announced that six players have left the club, including senior duo James McFadden and Marcus Hahnemann.

The pair have departed Goodison Park after the Merseyside club refused to offer them new contracts.

McFadden, who moved to Everton for the second time last year, racked up six appearances for the club this season while Hahnemann failed to secure a starting spot in David Moyes's side.

Goalkeepers Connor Roberts and Adam Davies have also come to the end of their contracts along with youngsters Aristote Nsiala and Femi Orenuga.
