Fraser Forster sets record as Celtic ease past Hearts

Fraser Forster sets a new Scottish shutout record as Celtic beat Hearts 2-0.

Goalkeeper Fraser Forster set a new clean-sheet record in Scotland as Celtic eased past Hearts 2-0 in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

Griffiths scored on 57 minutes when he fizzed a strike beyond Hearts goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald.

Derk Boerrigter nearly made it 2-0 with his first touch late on, but the Dutchman was denied by MacDonald, who tipped his effort over the bar.

Teemu Pukki made it 2-0 late on when Amido Balde found the forward with the pass before the Finn dispatched his effort.

Celtic goalkeeper Forster set a new Scottish shutout record in the contest. The Hoops shot-stopper has not conceded since November en route to keeping 13 consecutive clean sheets.
