Neil Lennon wary of Celtic unbeaten record

Celtic boss Neil Lennon believes that it is 'premature' to talk about his side going unbeaten this season in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has warned that it is 'premature' to talk about his side going unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership this season.

The champions are currently 10 points clear at the top of the table following 13 wins and three draws from their opening 16 fixtures.

"I wouldn't say it was impossible but it's a very difficult thing to do, so I wouldn't get too ahead of ourselves on that," Lennon is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"It's not added pressure, it's a nice pressure. It's something people are talking about very prematurely; we're 16 games into a 38-game campaign."

Celtic continue the defence of their title on Boxing Day when they travel to St Johnstone.
