Celtic manager Neil Lennon praises his players and the club's supporters following their 2-0 defeat to Juventus.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has declared that he is "proud" of his players despite this evening's 2-0 defeat away to Juventus in the Champions League.

The Hoops boss praised the club's supporters and described managing the Scottish giants during their European campaign as "a privilege".

He told Sky Sports News: "I am very proud to be manager in this arena, and hope the young guys blossom from this experience.

"The support of the club is amazing and it is a privilege to manage them. It has been a fantastic experience."

Goals from Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella gave the Italians a 2-0 win on the night and a 5-0 victory on aggregate to secure their place in the quarter-finals.
