Casa Pia and Rio Ave set out in search of their first win in three Primeira Liga games when they go head to head at the Estadio Municipal de Rio Maior on Saturday.

Having failed to win both home and away meetings between the sides last season, the Vilacondenses will be looking to get one over the hosts and pick up their first away win since March.

Looking at past results between Casa Pia and Rio Ave, we predict a cagey affair at the Estadio Municipal de Rio Maior on Saturday. This will be the second meeting between the sides this season, with the Alvinegros picking up a 3-1 victory in their Taca da Liga first qualifying round clash back in July.

The spoils have been shared in each of their last three meetings between the sides since January 2019 and they will head into the weekend looking to get one over the other.

Buoyed by their resounding victory over Chaves, Farense will head into the weekend with sky-high confidence as they look to build on that result. The visitors, meanwhile, have made an impressive start to the campaign, winning all three matches, ensuring they travel to Lisbon with a 100% record.
