Jazzi Barnum-Bobb, Tommy O'Sullivan extend Newport County loan terms

Newport County announce that Cardiff City youngsters Jazzi Barnum-Bobb and Tommy O'Sullivan will remain in place until January.

Cardiff City duo Jazzi Barnum-Bobb and Tommy O'Sullivan have reached an agreement with Newport County to extend their current loan stay.

Both players have featured in all four of the Exiles' games during their initial one-month spell, including a 4-1 derby victory over Bristol Rovers.

Barnum-Bobb and O'Sullivan, who scored his first professional goal in that memorable win, will now remain in place for a further two months until the start of the New Year.

Speaking to the club's official website, O'Sullivan said: "I am happy here, I'm playing games on a regular basis and enjoying it. It was nice to get my first senior goal and I was just happy to see it go into the back of the net.

"I went into Cardiff in the week and they were all saying well done to me, so now my aim is to keep it going. I just want to play as much as I can now up until January, and hopefully score a few more goals!".

Barnum-Bobb added: "I came here to do well in the initial month that I was here and get as many games as I could, this extension is another chance for me to get more games, which is exactly what I want.

"I think it is a perfect fit with Cardiff and Newport being so close. People can come down to watch and that is always a good incentive for me, knowing that there is always going to be people from Cardiff observing me and that spurs me on to do even better".

O'Sullivan was voted Wales's Young Player of the Year in October, but he has been unable to force his way into Cardiff's first team.
