Adam Le Fondre: 'Cardiff City have good chance of Premier League return'

Adam Le Fondre is confident that Cardiff City can return to the Premier League next season following their fall into the Championship.

Adam Le Fondre has expressed his belief that Cardiff City are more than capable of earning promotion to the Premier League next season.

The Bluebirds slumped back into the Championship at the end of the 2013-14 campaign by finishing bottom of the top flight under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Le Fondre will be part of Cardiff's campaign next season after the frontman signed from Reading for an undisclosed fee in May.

"I'm not going to join and just sit in the Championship, I don't want to do that," BBC Sport quotes Le Fondre as saying. "I want to strive to be better and the way we're looking we've got a good chance to get up."

Le Fondre scored 15 league goals for Reading in the Championship last season.
