Greg Taylor pens new Cambridge United deal

Cambridge United defender Greg Taylor pens a contract extension with the club until the end of the 2016-17 season.

Cambridge United defender Greg Taylor has signed a new contract with the club until summer 2017.

The 25-year-old has made over 80 appearances for the U's since he joined from Luton Town in 2013.

"Greg thoroughly deserves his contract extension and we are really pleased that he's committed himself to the club," coach Richard Money told United's official website. "He has played a major part in the club's success and is an integral part of the team."

Taylor was part of the Cambridge side that clinched promotion back to the Football League and won the FA Trophy last season.
