Bury chairman Stewart Day has described Danny Mayor as an "integral part" of the club after he signed a new long-term deal at the League One outfit.
Mayor has committed his future to the Shakers until 2019, and Day has admitted that he is delighted to have secured the services of the winger, who won the League Two Player of the Year award last season.
Day is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Danny is an integral part of our squad and is a massive part of the future of Bury.
"Danny feels he has a home with us and we are only too happy for him to continue helping us push the club forward."
Bury currently sit in fourth place in the League One table.
