Ross Wallace thrilled by Burnley draw

Burnley winger Ross Wallace hails his team's fighting spirit following their dramatic 2-2 draw with Leicester.

Burnley winger Ross Wallace has described Saturday's dramatic 2-2 draw with Leicester City as a "super point" for the Premier League strugglers.

The Clarets looked on course for a fourth defeat of the season at the King Power Stadium before Wallace's 96th-minute free kick earned them a share of the spoils.

Despite the team's poor start to the season, the Scot believes that their draw with Leicester symbolises the spirit among the players at Turf Moor.

"It was a super point for us. We're down to the bare bones with a few injuries to players as well, but the boys stepped in and put in a magnificent job for the team," he told Sky Sports News.

"There's been a real belief from the start of the season. The boys were really down after [losing to West Bromwich Albion last weekend], but we showed some spirit today, battered it off and dug in."

Burnley continue their Premier League campaign on October 18 when they host West Ham United.
