Neil Warnock: "We didn't take our chances"

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock believes that his team did not make the most of their chances in their 2-0 defeat to Hull City.

Neil Warnock has admitted that Crystal Palace did not make the most of their chances during their defeat to Hull City in the Premier League this afternoon.

The sides were level at the break, but goals from Mohamed Diame and Nikica Jelavic secured a 2-0 victory for the Tigers.

The manager told BBC Sport: "The first goal was always going to be vital and we didn't take our chances.

"If the players can continue to give me what they gave today then I can't complain. We upped our game after we conceded. We could have done a little bit more before that I think.

"When you lose a game of football at this level, you are all disappointed and that's how it should be."

The defeat leaves Palace 14th in the Premier League table.
