Burnley boss Sean Dyche: 'I don't fear the sack again'

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has stated that he does not fear getting the sack, after suffering that fate at previous club Watford.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has stated that he does not fear getting the sack, after understanding the reasons behind losing his job at previous club Watford.

The 43-year-old, who has guided the Clarets into the Premier League, was sacked by Watford in the summer of 2012 after they were taken over by the Pozzo family.

Dyche has admitted that managers and fans often have little power to stop managerial changes from happening.

"I don't overthink it," he told FIFA.com. "I've had the sack already, so I certainly don't fear that. I know that life goes on.

"I just make sense of what I do on a weekly basis and I think I understand most of it, certainly the business, not necessarily all the tactics - there's more to learn as a young manager on the football side of things - but I do get it.

"I understand the demands and I fell foul of the demands, albeit at a business change when I was at my previous club. It is what it is. I'm certainly not going to change it with any words or any of my actions. It's the powers at be and the fans that will change it, if they choose to."

Dyche was appointed Burnley boss in October 2012.
