Nathan Jones delighted with Brighton & Hove Albion comeback

Brighton & Hove Albion assistant head coach Nathan Jones is delighted that his side have brought an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brighton & Hove Albion assistant head coach Nathan Jones has admitted that his side were delighted to twice come from behind to earn a 3-3 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

Two goals in the final 11 minutes saw Brighton deny their hosts at Ewood Park, and Jones was happy that the playoff contenders have ended their three-match losing streak ahead of the final seven games of the campaign.

The 40-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "This was the least effective that we've been in terms of possession and control of the game and ironically enough, we scored more goals than we have in the previous three but that's football.

"We're very pleased with that point because it stops the run that we're on. It's a game in hand so it takes us a point closer to the playoff pack so that's one pleasing thing."

Brighton now sit three points adrift of sixth-placed Reading in the Championship standings.
