Chris Hughton interested in Brighton & Hove Albion job

Chris Hughton reveals that he would be interested in becoming the next manager of Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chris Hughton has admitted that he would be interested in becoming manager of Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 56-year-old, who has been out of work since leaving Norwich City in March, is currently the bookmakers' favourite to take charge at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton are currently looking for a new boss following the departure of Sami Hyypia last week.

"It's a very good club, a club that has a tremendous infrastructure - a new stadium, a new training facility," Hughton told BBC Sport.

"Anybody like myself who has been out for a while would certainly be interested in that type of job."

Brighton currently occupy 21st place in the Championship.
