Luiz Felipe Scolari: "Neymar has done his share"

Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari admits that Neymar has "done his share" in helping them to the last four and hopes that they can win the World Cup for their injured talisman.

Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has revealed that they will have injured talisman Neymar in their hearts when they face Germany in their World Cup semi-final.

The Barcelona star has played a starring role in taking the Selecao to the last four, but has been ruled out out of the rest of the tournament after suffering a fractured vertebra in the 2-1 victory over Colombia.

Brazil are already playing with the expectations of the host nation on their shoulders, but Scolari has insisted that there is now one man in particular in whose honour his side are hoping to lift the trophy.

"Neymar has done his share. Now it's up to us to do our share," he told reporters. "We have accepted what has happened and we are focusing on other things.

"In this match we will be playing not just for ourselves [and] everything we've ever dreamed of, but also for Neymar and everything he's done for us."

Scolari's men play the Germans in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday evening.
