Bradford City loan Blackpool's Gary Mackenzie

Bradford City sign 29-year-old Blackpool defender Gary Mackenzie on loan until the end of the season.

Bradford City have finalised a deal to bring Blackpool's Gary Mackenzie to the club until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old, who has recently recovered from an Achilles injury, has yet to make an appearance for the Seasiders this season and has linked up with Bradford in search of first-team football.

The defender is eligible to join up with the Bantams squad for Saturday's trip to Port Vale.

Mackenzie becomes the second Blackpool player to join Bradford on loan this campaign after Francois Zoko linked up with Bantams in November.
