Napoli midfielder Jorginho is reportedly wanted by Bournemouth, who have had an £18m offer knocked back by the Italian club.

Bournemouth have reportedly become the latest Premier League side to see a bid for Italian international Jorginho turned down by Napoli.

The 25-year-old is said to have been the subject of an £18m offer from the Cherries, which fell well short of the Serie A side's valuation.

Arsenal are also understood to have shown an interest in the highly-rated midfielder, tabling a slightly lower sum earlier in the transfer window.

According to The Sun Jorginho, who joined Napoli from Hellas Verona in 2014, is not currently for sale and the club will continue knocking back offers.

Jorginho started 27 of Napoli's 38 league games last term, helping the club to a third-placed finish.
