Bournemouth have recalled goalkeeper Mark Travers from his loan spell with Stoke City following the news that Neto has picked up an injury.
The Cherries club captain, who arrived from Barcelona in 2022, has featured in all nine Premier League games this season.
However, Neto is now set for a spell on the sidelines after Iraola confirmed the goalkeeper had suffered an ankle injury.
"We are going to lose Neto, he's been injured this week," Iraola told reporters ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Burnley.
"He suffered an ankle injury a couple days ago, and he'll be out at least until the international break for sure. If all goes well, he'll be back after the international break."

When asked whether Ionut Radu would replace Neto, the Bournemouth boss said: "Tomorrow, Radu will play for sure.
"I think he has played two games in the EFL Cup, and I think he has the experience in other leagues. We hope he has a good performance and we have don't have any doubt.
"You never know how anyone is going to play. But I think he has the level and I hope he shows it."
Although Radu will feature against the Clarets, Bournemouth have taken the decision to recall Travers from his loan spell with Stoke.
The club said: "An application to recall Travers due to exceptional circumstances was accepted by the Premier League, EFL and Football Association this morning, with Andrei Radu the only senior goalkeeper available to play."

Travers made 13 Championship appearances during his short stint with the Potters, keeping one of two clean sheets in Wednesday's 1-0 win over Leeds United.
The 24-year-old, who has earned three caps for the Republic of Ireland, has recorded 26 clean sheets in 70 competitive appearances for Bournemouth.
While Travers is set to be included in Saturday's matchday squad, Bournemouth are unable to call upon the injured trio of Tyler Adams, Ryan Fredericks and Emiliano Marcondes.
Meanwhile, midfielder Lewis Cook will begin his three-match suspension after receiving a straight red card in the defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
With Bournemouth languishing in the relegation zone, Iraola is under pressure to claim his first Premier League win this weekend.
