Bosnia-Herzegovina manager steps down

Bosnia-Herzegovina manager Safet Susic announces that he will step down as manager of the national team.

Bosnia-Herzegovina manager Safet Susic has announced that he will step down as manager of the national team.

The country were making their first appearance at the World Cup finals this summer, but failed to make it out of the group stages.

Speaking after his side's 3-1 win over Iran, Susic told Brazilian newspaper Lancenet: "This was my last game at the World Cup."

"Unfortunately there will not be another one. Sometimes it is a nice feeling to be free of obligations. I can decide my own fate and this is my answer."

Bosnia-Herzegovina will begin their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign against Cyprus on September 9.
