Former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba has expressed his sadness in learning of the dismissal of Trotters manager Owen Coyle.
The Scottish boss was relieved of his duties yesterday following an inconsistent start to the Championship campaign.
Muamba, who was forced to retire from football after recovering from a cardiac arrest that he suffered last season, has claimed that he is "devastated" for Coyle, who was highly praised for his conduct during and after Muamba collapsed at White Hart Lane during an FA Cup contest.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old, who has been speaking at today's Leaders in Football conference at Stamford Bridge, has insisted that he wants to remain in football.
