Blackpool manager Paul Ince has said that he would be up for the challenge of turning his side's fortunes around after losing at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday.
The Tangerines started well but were beaten by two late goals from substitute Mustapha Carayol.
"I'm never one for shirking a challenge," he told the club's official website. "It messes up everybody's weekend when you don't win the game.
"I'm trying to change a game and you think who to bring on, you can't rely on 11 players, you need to change things and we can't do that, because we are down to the bare bones."
Ince's substitutes' bench included two youth team players, who had turned out for the club earlier on Saturday.
