Frenchman Anthony Modeste partners Yakubu in attack for Blackburn Rovers against Wigan Athletic this evening.

Anthony Modeste has been handed a starting role for Blackburn Rovers in their home encounter against Wigan Athletic tonight.

The Frenchman will partner Yakubu in attack, while Jason Lowe has been handed a role in the midfield.

Franco Di Santo will start as a lone striker for visiting Wigan, who have Shaun Maloney and Victor Moses in advanced midfield positions.

Only a win will secure Blackburn's status as a Premier League club for another week.
