Birmingham City winger David Cotterill has signed a new three-year contract with the Championship side.
The 27-year-old was due to be out of contract at the end of the season, but will now remain at St Andrew's until summer 2018.
Blues boss Gary Rowett said that the Welsh international is one of the best widemen in the Championship.
He told the club website: "In the last couple of weeks I think he has got that brightness back about him and that goal threat, that player who we know can put some great stats and performances together that compares to any winger in the division in terms of his goalscoring and his assists."
Cotterill joined Birmingham on a free transfer from Doncaster Rovers last summer, scoring nine goals in 42 Championship matches last season.
