Birmingham City boss Lee Clark confirms that former Bolton Wanderers defender Paul Robinson is on trial at the club.

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark has revealed that he could move for former Bolton Wanderers defender Paul Robinson.

The 33-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving Bolton in the summer, is currently on trial with the Championship club.

"We're just having a look at each other. He's one of those players who, as a free transfer, can sign after the window is shut," Clark told the Birmingham Mail.

"It's no secret that we're short of senior defenders, especially after Stephen Carr's injury. There is no commitment on either side but we'll see what comes of it."

Southend United defender Bilel Mohsni is also reportedly close to joining the club.
